I Love dealing with JCap. I did rent for 1 year with University Area housing out of the dorm and hated it. I was referred to JCap and have been with them for 2 years. My roommates and I have no issues with the office. I would recommend Jcap for student housing. Reviews talk about the rent but the pricing is no different than anyone down here. If you are paying $300.00 for rent don't complain.

My time spent dealing with jcap has been the worst living situation I’ve ever been in. I wish you could give negative stars. They are so slow to answer maintenance requests, and when recurring problems were brought up to them they tried to blame us and charge us to get it fixed. They are nothing but swindlers trying to squeeze college kids for their money. I would highly recommend reporting them to the housing authority and the better business bureau. I honestly do not understand how these guys are still in business. DO NOT RENT FROM JCAP!!!!

Absolutely the worst landlord I’ve had. They have not handled maintenance issues, been rude on showings, don’t give you specific times they are showing, and their “24 hour emergency line” is fake. Our shower broke and wouldn’t stop running, and after 20 calls they still didn’t pick up. Nothing but a bad experience TLDR: avoid Jcap at all costs

This was the first year I have rented through JCAP and I have been very satisfied with my service. I have contacted JCAP multiple times with questions and they have always provided me with an answer very quick and efficiently. I have never had problems with getting in touch with them as I have with previous landlords. It seems they are always staffed and always ready to tend to their tenants. When my apartment needed any kind of attention, I would call to put in a maintenance request and they would send someone over here within the hour. You can tell they really care about the quality of their housing and the quality of their service. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to rent in the Eau Claire area!

I have been with renting through JCap for 2 years and have loved their customer service! I had previously been with a different real estate company and switched to JCap by recommendation and they have not failed me or my roommates! They are quick to respond when maintenance is needed and keep our house up to code. This was something that was important to me because many other real estate companies may take a week or longer or may not never even show up to fix something in the house. As a college student, JCap makes renting an easy process and would highly recommend to other students!
