My parents lived at Jamestown Commons for the past two years and recently moved out due to a series of unresolved issues that made their stay increasingly difficult. From the start, the property showed signs of neglect. Common areas were rarely cleaned thoroughly, and the overall maintenance of the complex left much to be desired. One of the most serious and persistent problems was a cockroach infestation. Despite repeated complaints to management, the issue was never properly addressed. Instead of taking responsibility or offering meaningful solutions, management routinely dismissed concerns with responses like, “What do you expect?” — a troubling attitude that reflects a lack of accountability and respect for residents. Unfortunately I've already left a negative review of this place and have given this place only one star. If I could I would give it no stars. This place is absolutely terrible and I wouldn't recommend anyone move here. Should anyone move here they'll find out very soon that they made a very big mistake. The latest complaint is that we have a busted hot water tank. We didn't have hot water for 3/4 days. Was told by the maintenance supervisor he would return the next day at 9a.m. Not only did he not show up but was told he didn't have a tank in stock. He should have known this before promising he would return the next day. Now am told he has to order a tank which could take an additional day or so before it gets here. MF in live in James Common Apartment I love living there the staff is great any thing goes wrong in apartments they come and fix it right away the Manager is always there to answer my questions and Assist Manager they are always kind I have lived here 5years and the neighbors are kind as well it is a great place to live

I must agree this place is terrible. I went in for a tour today looking for a place for my mother in law and the customer service was non existent. No one was at the front desk. Angela, the APM barely offered any information unless I asked. Place looks dark and depressing. Dingy carpets, hallway smelled heavily of smoke. Call box broken. I understand it's tough out there for Seniors especially looking for affordable housing, my advice, start your search early and go with your gut feeling. It's not worth finding a place and being miserable the entire time you're there.

I have lived here since 2003! I am comfortable living here meeting nice people and watching the waterfall is a favorite part of my view from my 2nd floor bedroom apartment, if I have a maintenance issue it is taken care of ASAP. Cleaning is done each day, the staffing is friendly & courteous. Questions are presented to the office and answered to the best of their knowledge .
