I did not have JAG build my home but I did buy it from an investor who built it and I am the first owner to live in it. Obviously it’s a beautiful well constructed home and that is why we bought it. But obviously once you move in there are a few punchlist items that come up. I will say this Noi who takes in the complaints has been prompt in getting me the relief that I needed. i’ve had two issues so far. One was a window that had a bad draft. within a day they had Scott come out to my house who did great work and diagnosing the problem and fixing it. Had a second issue come up with a problematic smoke detector and another door draft and he was here the same day. We picked JAG to build our mountain home in Swannanoa NC, Started construction in 2024 and finished in 2025. It’s been now close to a year since we moved in and we absolutely love the home and the work. During the selection process we picked JAG because of the transparency in their overall process, their focus on green building science and how we clicked with their team. I am not sure if they were expecting how involved of a home owner I would be at every step of the construction process, but they met me at that level. I was able to witness in detail the work of pretty much every craft/trade that went into my home and the resources they brought were top notch. JAG did an amazing job on our home. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience all the way around. From the first walking of the lot with Jody and Rob to the build process with Kevin, Paul, and Jeb all the way to the warranty work with Dave and Scott, and of course Noi in the office - everyone involved was extremely helpful, open, friendly, flexible, and honest. We are the second owners of a JAG built home (it's actually featured on their website as Digges home) and the design while absolutely gorgeous has been a land mine or poor quality. Despite the home being just over a year old when we bought it we've wound up with over 50k in repair work on the home caused by poor workmanship. The upstairs bathroom just was not sealed at all, when we removed the tiling there were holes behind the tiling and the shower was just unsealed and caused a flood into our living room below that required a complete and total guy renovation of the walk in shower/tub on top of damage to the ceiling below that needed to be repaired.
