Island Villa

Used to be good. I’ve lived here for about 2-3 years. When I first moved in everything was fine till the car break ins started happening. The constant gate switching and VERY easy code hasn’t helped at all. Loud cars that set off cars all night. Not to mention random little fees they charge. 7$ for this $15 for that. Extra fee for an inaccurate estimate of rent sent to the email just for it to be more. Also random spider webs and endless bird shit all over the stairs. Birds nesting in the dryer vents. Dog shit everywhere. The list goes on and on.

Our Tour Lady , Mariah , Was a wonderful person ! When we first arrived , she was very good with showing us around and We really loved how she was willing to work with us and make sure everything was going out good for our move in !! She is wonderful and if anyone decides to move into the apartment complex, Go to her !!

After signing a lease agreement we went to move in the unit and there was literally no one to park to even carry things within the block. Completely over populated with vehicles and pets. Were told it was second floor and we get to the unit and it was third floor. We didn't even put a box in the unit and I tried to cancel it along with the payment less than 24 hours later and was told we would have to forfeit the $1000 deposit and pay almost $5000 in cancellation charges!! We are now out $1000 on a deposit for a home we feel safe in. We feel completely bamboozled by this apartment complex. We also were not aware it was an income restricted housing unit until we were seated. I was never shown the actual unit only online. My husband did see a unit but again it was on the second floor during

Lived here for a year and the experience was below average. When I first moved in, the unit wasn’t even inspected properly. The oven didn’t work, the lights in one room were out, and the closet door was broken. They charged us for key cards while the gate stayed broken the entire year, forcing us to use the far gate on the opposite side of the building. There was black mold in multiple areas, the halls smelled awful, and the floors were stained from people leaving their trash out all day. The maintenance team was always on time I’d say. Add a couple hundred more and go somewhere better because this place charges luxury prices but doesn’t offer a luxury experience.

I’ve had a wonderful experience so far. The front office staff has been so helpful and I have had no issues moving and getting settled in. Loving it here so far. My only complaint is that maintenance never actually comes and keeps closing out the work orders, then I receive emails asking me to rate the maintenance service.
