Came from Detroit 12yrs ago to Lansing stayed there for 11yrs and now I stay in Eaton Rapids in the Island City Apartments with my at the time 13 yrs old daughter and hands down it was one of the best decisions I've made in years. Eaton Rapids reminds me of my childhood kids out playing without a care in the world enjoying their childhood and the people are so loving and sweet I've been here for 1 1/2 yrs and haven't had a racist moment or any type of meanness I love it here
Been here 5 years now. It's peaceful, even when children come out to play. Great neighborhood. Sometimes in the summer you can hear the High School Marching Band play. Short walk to Downtown. Neighbors are friendly. All in all, a nice place to be, in my opinion.
