Interstate Abstract are THIEVES. Brian Bortner is the worst. He/ the company HAVE STOLEN $4800 NOW PLUS COURT COSTS HELD IN ESCROW DUE TO THE SALE OF MY HOME AND HAVE REFUSED TO RETURN IT NOW FOR 2 1/2 YEARS. I HAVE CONTACTED THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU, THE ATTORNEY GENERAL, TWO MORTGAGE COMPLIANCE AGENCIES, THE ORIGINAL REALTOR, and had my ATTORNEY sent them a letter and they have not responded to any of my attempts except early on acknowledging their guilt via email and text but have refused any further communication. Today in Small Claims Court I was awarded a default judgment so I will proceed with collecting money, which is mine and owed, and has been stolen by this company as you can see they all they have F ratings for all three locations and I will not stop until they return what i

THIEVES. Worst home closing experience I’ve ever had. Kept my real estate taxes and a trust and then avoided all my phone calls emails and text when attempting to contact them to pay the Dept Of Revenue. Director Brian Botner sad sad level of service, poor professionalism, and I suspect there’s some fraud going on. Update: WON A DEFAULT JUDGEMENT AGAINST THEM TODAY FOR THE $4800 they have stolen of my escrow.

FINAL UPDATE: February 14, 2025 the deed was finally recorded. 5 months for INTERSTATE ABSTRACT to do their job. UPDATE: Today is 2/5/2025 and still no deed has been recorded. Camden County Clerks Office records are up today date as of 1/16/2024. Here we are 5 months later and deed remains unrecorded. WOW! Big fail for this company. Zero stars would be to many- as of today I have not received any response to my emails inquiring why this has not been done. Thank goodness we aren’t the buyers- they probably have no idea Interstate Abstract still has NOT done their job. UPDATE: CAMDEN COUNTY RECORDS are up to date as of 12/30 today January 14 and STILL OUR DEED WAS NOT RECORDED. The poor buyers have no recorded deed of ownership.
