Mike Zakreski led a property improvement project in my neighborhood that began without the required permits and was issued stop-work orders by the City of Boulder, while affiliated with Indian Peaks Real Estate. During this period, I observed repeated issues and interactions that were highly unprofessional and concerning. Proceed with caution when considering working with Mike Zakreski on any property-related matters.

We rented a property managed by Indian Peaks Real Estate Services for the last three years and we were truly sad to leave this outstanding management company. Being a local, smaller company instead of a large landlord corporation was already a plus in our books, but the people at Indian Peaks Real Estate were truly the best. Emily was not only an absolute stellar property manager for us, but also is just a generally kind, compassionate, and amazing person. She was always available when we called/texted her, and addressed issues we were having with promptness. She always checked in via email/text in case of inclement weather or other issues, and always made sure that our needs were taken care of. Indian Peaks, and specifically Emily has been one of the best and nicest rent managers I have dealt with. Most rental companies are now big corporations who could care less about you. But Emily has been over the top and seems to care about us and our family. She lives in our town of Nederland and shares a sense of solidarity that is not normal these days with rental management companies. In fact we almost moved down to Denver at the end of our lease period because we are having a baby, but the kindness from Emily and was a big reason why we stayed. I highly recommend our friends over at Indian Peaks. I think they are unique and offer a personalized service you won’t find with corporate owned housing like most apartments, etc

Emily Perry is our property manager and she made the application experience as well as the entirety of us living here an amazing experience. She is prompt on communicating and getting anything fixed if we have an issue. She has made us feel welcome in the community and safe by checking in during storms, power outages, or even keeping us posted on things going on in the area that may affect us. So thankful a local realtor is who we connected with when finding a home and super thankful it was Emily!!

Wendy Williams is by far the best property manager I have ever worked with. And that means a lot coming from a renter rather than a homeowner. I am 62 and have never owned, only rented. The house we rented from Wendy was the nicest house we ever lived in, and we lived there for 11 years. She is hired by the homeowner and technically works for them, but she has a very enlightened approach and was able to advocate for us as tenants while representing the best interests of the homeowner. Wendy was very easy to work with, always gave us plenty of notice when she would perform her annual walk through, and was very gracious when it was (sadly) our time to move out.
