Independence Place Apartments

Our apartment had a water leak caused by a plumbing failure in the bathroom, which flooded the floor and spread into the hallway. We reported it immediately and provided photos. That’s smells like sewage. Maintenance repaired the leak, but management told us that we were responsible for cleaning all the water damage ourselves, even though it was clearly not caused by tenant misuse. This is very unprofessional and unfair to tenants. I would not recommend this management based on how they handled this issue.

My husband and I have lived here since May of last year. We absolutely love the women that work in the leasing office. Any concerns, questions, suggestions etc, are always accommodated. They truly try to make your living experience as comfortable as possible.

This place is terrible and unprofessional!! There are roaches in the apartment and i thought it was us (we go to the field alot and i thought we mightve brought back some from our bags or clothes) but it turns out its a huge issue around the apartment. The people in the office micro manage and they have it bad, its gotten to the point where we feel stalked. They harass us with noise complaints but the people above us are always stomping or whatever the are doing and nothing has been done about it. we were blamed for “trash infront of our apartment” but they had evicted our neighbors across the hall and while the apartment was being cleaned out they put all the trash infront of THEIR door. Thank god the lease is up in 3 months, We hate it here shoutout to the black lady with glasses in the

I’ve really enjoyed living at Independence Place Apartments! The community is clean, quiet, and well maintained, and the staff in the leasing office are always kind and professional. Mrs. Pate, in particular, has been wonderful — she’s friendly, helpful, and always goes out of her way to make sure residents are taken care of. Maintenance requests are handled quickly, and the property always feels safe and well looked after. It’s a peaceful place to live, with a great location and a real sense of community. I’d definitely recommend Independence Place Apartments to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-managed home.
