They discontinued the valet / curb side trash collection service, leaving the only option for residents a few containers in one location - for a large community of townhomes. Do they expect the elderly and the disabled from the far side of the community to haul their trash clear across the neighborhood? What about for everyone when it's raining, or snowing? What about simple convenience for such high rent rates? It's 2025, not 1825. The rent was not decreased. No plans were made to replace the service. No plans were made for the city to take over trash collection. Think about how little a management company must care about their residents to do something like this. I have been here for almost a year and I love living here. Leanne and maintenance have been so efficient and so quick with responding and fixing issues if anything arises. I have seen multiple comments about rats and roaches but I have seen NOTHING in or around my unit to indicate otherwise. I’m excited to be signing my lease for another year and recommend this place. My neighbors are friendly and quiet and I love the location. Close to EVERYTHING. I also love all the kitchen storage! I have lots of appliances and everything fits! In the winter they always salt the sidewalks way before snow and ice accumulate and I love when they cut the grass because they do the edges and it looks really nice. I also love all the trees and flowers they plant around the property. Definitely a place to call

I have lived in this community for over 10 years and have generally been happy here. While nothing is perfect, I’ve noticed a significant decline over the past few months since the previous property manager, Leanne, left. She was warm, accommodating, and truly made residents feel valued, and she is greatly missed. The current office experience has been disappointing. I was recently in the office and was not greeted by the property manager. Maintenance response times have slowed down compared to before. Valet trash pickup was discontinued due to alleged pest concerns, yet the dumpster areas remain overflowing, and the green pet waste cans are not being emptied in a timely manner. I've lived at Independence at Towncenter now for 2 years and renewed for my 3rd year recently. I can tell you how lovely the staff is, especially Leeanne, Lamont, Andre, and the rest of the folks that deal with tenants regularly. You can really tell they want to help you, fix your issue as soon as possible, and make you comfortable. The community is what you make of it. Look after your neighbors, clean up after yourselves, and we can keep a relatively quiet and nice community. The location is great. The traffic noise can get loud, but you get used to it!

Property manager Jessica was extremely helpful and professional, answering all of my questions. I was very impressed with her knowledge and professionalism.
