This review is specifically for Halie Johnson’s performance as a property manager. I normally shy away from reviews but I just can’t keep this to myself. She’s professional, quick, attentive, patient, and just overall great at what she does. I’ve never seen anything like it. I moved from out of state with no family all alone and she helped me with every step along the way. She even responds outside of business hours. There hasn’t been a task that she hasn’t been able to help with. I truly feel like I’m in good hands. Also, I’d like to make an honorable mention to Tony the maintenance man for being swift with request and polite whenever he arrives to do work. Would not recommend. Moved in to a renovated unit that had a washer machine that leaked within 3 Weeks(that's 3 loads). Damaging the floorboards and flooring. 8 months later the machine is finally replaced over the course of 3 weeks, and somehow It's my fault it's been broken since we moved in(they claimed overloading). Reported and documented multiple times. Maintenance also asked us to order our own part for it if we wanted it done faster when first reported. Since the renovation work was still under warranty I assume, contractors repaired it instead of their company maintenance, which was not quite up to the same standards.

If you have experience with things being done properly, by the book whatever you want to call it, AVOID renting from incity and all its other companies!!! Always lost paperwork and on a few occasions, fully lost the money orders I had to pay them when they blocked my account from paying online. Would always try to do things WITHOUT paperwork then would get attitude when I would say I’m not abiding by anything without formal paperwork that I have to sign on my end as well. I have already lawyered up incase they try anything now that I have moved out. Which I cannot wait for. Save your money and your multiple future headaches by not doing ANY BUSINESS with this company. Payments WERE NOT APPLIED TO MY OUTSTANDING BALANCE ANYWHERE. THEY STOLE MY MONEY. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY.

DO NOT RENT FROM ANY Incity property. Lived in one of there buildings in Seattle for a year and the building is falling apart, the elevator is terrifying and works about 30% of the time. Common areas in the building like laundry rooms are filthy and smell of mold and rot. Management is terrible and refuses to fix issues in apartments, we had a leak for over half the time we were in the apartment and they painted over it and gave us a dehumidifier and said “well the whole roof needs to be replaced so just try to keep the moisture away” absolutely a joke of a property management company. Further, they had the nerve to attempt to collect nearly 700$ in cleaning and painting fees after move out for an Apartment we left spotless. Slum lord practices, absolutely horrible company.

Worst rental agency I’ve ever rented with. They tried charging us for a repainting and cleaning fee for an apartment we left spotless. The building was run down, had multiple safety code violations including the elevator and black mold in our apartment. (Which they “fixed” by spray painting over and not moving or covering any furniture before hand). These people are absolute slum lords.
