Hunter's Run Apartments

2.5 stars out of 5 My family and I have lived in this community for a little over three years, and while we haven’t experienced any major crises, we’ve certainly had our fair share of frustrations. With new management now in place, I’m hopeful that some positive changes may finally be on the horizon. We originally chose this property because of its ideal location, the spacious and practical apartment layouts, and a generous 10% rent discount for employees of Shands, the University of Florida, and the Alachua County School Board. Unfortunately, during the signing of our second-year lease, this discount was abruptly discontinued for everyone—without any prior notice. Living at Hunters Run is amazing. It’s a quiet well maintained apartment complex with spacious apartments and great amenities. I love the fireplace and laundry available in my apartment. Much better than The Polos and more affordable for the space as well. Pet fees are much cheaper and they aren’t invading your living space every week for random inspections.

Management seemed more interested in lecturing me about using their new app than addressing an urgent heating issue. They neglected a valid written maintenance request and delayed needed repairs during cold weather. The focus feels more on appearances than on genuinely helping residents.

This is a secluded garden-oasis, yet we are just minutes away from the diverse amenities of city life. The floor plans offer generous rooms and ample storage along with screened porches and covered entries. I have been here for 4 years and have found our management team to be most supportive.

The apartments are clean, the complex has nice amenities we use every day, the leasing office employees are friendly and helpful, the maintenance employees are friendly and are staffing up quickly, and the neighbors are great! Honestly this is the nicest apartment complex at an extremely fair price compared to every other we looked at around town.
