Hudson at Westchase Apartments

Alright Hudson community let's be honest and help this terrible apartment complex improve without sending 5-star reviews because they asked us to, they asked management to ask me to send a 5 star review a couple months ago to trash office btw. Let's break this down pros and cons. First cons before you move here you will see a lot of roaches I been seeing them throughout the year they basically need to pay for rent. Even though I keep my unit clean the pest control is not enough you have to spend your own money to defend your unit from pest so basically you extra money. Then you have drug dealers sitting outside the side of the street come on we see these people every day all day just sit on the side of the street even got offered weed one time. I have had a wonderful experience here at the Hudson at Westchase since I’ve moved here (over a year ago). As far as the apartment I initially had, I had no issues apart from the same two children other residents named, but that family no longer lives here. I requested a transfer when my lease was up to a bigger apartment, and the transfer process itself was incredibly easygoing and quick. Any minor maintenance issue and/or concern have been addressed promptly. When I moved into my new apartment there were some issues with the dishwasher and they came in and sought out every and any issue surrounding it and addressed them in a matter of a day, two the latest. The maintenance team and new supervisor have been nothing short of amazing and the office staff is great and transparent. My family

If I could give zero stars, I would. I’ve only lived here for less than a week and I am already completely disgusted and furious. The moment I moved in, I noticed signs of rats and roaches — not just the occasional pest, but a full-blown infestation. This is beyond unacceptable. The leasing office was all smiles and promises before I signed, but once they had my money, the reality hit: this place is filthy and completely mismanaged. I pay rent expecting a safe and sanitary living environment — instead I got vermin, sleepless nights, and a maintenance team that moves at a snail’s pace, if they respond at all. Save yourself the headache, the health hazard, and the regret. This place is a trap — literally and figuratively.

I’ve been here since the end of April. Great communication from staff in the leasing office. everything I put maintenance request in for was fixed in a timely manner. I see other reviews about roaches. I had them when I first moved in they wasn’t really bad but I got my own stuff to get rid of them and haven’t seen many since. But this is an apartment complex so your neighbors might have them or may not be cleaning properly to keep them away. But overall my experience has been great. My car hasn’t been messed with it’s quiet and I always see the lots clean.

There’s just too many roaches here. Personally bombed the place myself—and had the staff bring in pest control. But the issue will continue to persist. I don’t know what this place will do for me. All I wanted was an ideal place to come home from work. Not roaches crawling around my walls. I would recommend looking into pest control for the entire complex—not just when someone reports the issue in their apartment. Find the source and remove it.
