Howard Hanna Property Management - Michigan

Howard Hannah has managed my rental property for the last 5 years. I have been extremely satisfied with their services. They are a full service management company and take care of all aspects of the rental process -- advertising, finding tenants, and handling repairs...etc. If you want a "no worries" management, company, then I would strongly recommend Howard Hannah. I live outside of Michigan so it was important for me to have a reliable local management company for my property. Joe and Becky are always friendly and responsive, and have managed several serious maintenance problems that have occurred over the past 5 years. They also worked directly with the condo association when needed, and even attended an important condo association meeting on my behalf.

Property management does not enforce the no smoking policy in the lease agreement so unfortunately if you are a non smoker,you will have to endure poor air quality inside the building and you will get nowhere by complaining. Most of the time they don't even return your phone calls. My wife and I have lived in this apartment for 2 years now, but the first year we were here another property management company oversaw this place. The previous company did a great job, returned phone calls, listened to complaints and concerns. Then last year Howard Hannah took over and things went downhill fast. We've been dealing with the issue of having first floor neighbor who smokes in her apartment. Howard Hanna managed my property for 5 years. If you want someone to take care of your property while it is rented and deal with all the headaches these are your people. They have found renters each time we needed and fairly quickly. They check in with you for any maintenance requests via email. Very professional but also have common sense and use it when it comes to any issues. Overall a great company to have manage your property. We recently put the property on the market through a different real estate company (only because that was my normal realtor) while we had a tenant in our unit. Howard Hanna helped communicate to that tenant and also with our realtor. This all helped us get it sold in a matter of weeks and then they worked with us and our tenant to adjust the lease for c

I rented through Howard Hannah for about two and a half years and I couldn’t say enough good things about my experience. They are very professional and pleasant to deal with. I really like the responsiveness of the team and their urgency behind maintenance requests. I was in a unique situation where my rental unit was being sold and they worked with me and the owner to agree upon ending my lease term early. Everything went very smooth and they were very respective of my wishes with regards to altering the existing lease term.
