In the past, Christine and I lived in Clarksville TN for a few years, and in that time, we bought a house there and rented it out using the Horizon Management Company. We were very pleased with how Tiffany and Mike at Horizon managed the house and we continued to use them after leaving Clarksville to live near our daughter in Washington State, nearly 2000 miles away. That was over 10 years ago and they continued to do a great job. The payments went into our account regularly every month and the repairs, e.g. replacing the aging central heating system, were performed quickly and economically. My wife and I have rented from Horizon for almost 8 years now. The staff at Horizon has always been kind and professional. Any time the our property needed anything all we had to do was bring it to their attention and it was always taken care of asap. I rented from Horizon for three years. During my time in the rental, I was very upfront about everything that happened (changing number of people in my unit, breaks, leaks, issues with managers) and the company was very responsive to it all. They allowed me to modify my lease a few times to add or remove family members who wanted to try life on the coast. They worked with me when the water heater, stove, dishwasher, and upstairs plumbing broke. When I moved out, I didn't leave the place spotless - I left it pretty much in the condition a three year rental would look like. When I received my remaining deposit, it was accompanied by the bills that were provided to them by the contractors performing the work and I called each one to verify. All of the numbers checked out and made sense.

Don’t rent from these snakes, if you do be very diligent about covering your bases. Take photos before and after, keep your receipts for any thing you replace (the fridge that was provided when I moved in broke on the weekend after two weeks of living there, I replaced it cause I had just made a Costco trip. Told them about the fridge the following week day, and they wouldn’t reimburse me for it cause they had nothing to do with fridge according to the lease. When I moved out they had no recollection of me buying the fridge so they kept it, and charged me 100$ out of my deposit to have it cleaned haha.), contact them only in writing if you can help it, and make sure you demand a walk through inspection before you move out on what they are going to charge you for. I remember trying to help

I would give zero stars if I could.... it was a horrible experience renting threw them. They didn't take care of anything that went wrong and made us pay for all of it. The roof leaked and they had been informed. Never fixed it, and it broke my Tv. I had to pay for it. Garbage disposal broke, I had to pay for it. AFTER I moved, someone dumped stuff on the property, and they took it out of my deposit. The new owner Lorain is a bully. She is mean and aggressive to people to get them to back down. They treated us horribly and have made me cry so much on how much they have robbed me and how bad they've treated me. NEVER rent from them. You will be robbed. She's also HORRIBLE at her job and fakes on visits that you miss work for. I would rather be homeless then ever do business with this heart
