Horizon Pines Apartments

I have lived at Horizon Pines for 2 years and the experience has been pleasant with regards to the facilities and the management. I have had the opportunity to meet several friendly neighbors and appreciate the level of effort management applies to social gatherings and events. I would specifically like to thank Ashley for being patient and understanding while always being professional and polite to any requests and her cheerful smile is always appreciated 👍🏽

I need to say management here at Horizon Pines, Marc and Ashley are an absolutely delight to greet when you walk into main office. I have encountered both of them walking the beautiful, well maintained gated grounds and both, Marc and Ashley have the same friendly caring attitude. Maintenance staff are quick and skilled at fixing/addressing tenants concerns. I have been here five months and have had zero concerns with ground cleanliness, management or other staff members. Horizon Pines Senior Apartments is truly a wonderful, well-managed, and caring community for seniors! My grandmother lived here for many years (and still a resident), and as a family, we are extremely involved—visiting 4 to 7 days a week, every single week since she moved in. Because of that, we’ve seen firsthand how much love, care, and dedication the management and staff put into this property every single day. Mark and Ashley are phenomenal—they genuinely have a heart for the elderly and go above and beyond to ensure residents are cared for. Even the previous manager, Brenda, was a compassionate leader who truly valued the seniors here. You can see that this isn’t just a job for them; it’s something they take pride in. This is income restricted "affordable" housing for >55. Great location.. Mostly 2 bedroom. Spacious. Lovely pool. Fitness room blows. Management is good. Quick repairs. Like 1/2 the apartments are cool. The rest of us live in a big bldg that feels too much like a nursing home.

Management at this place is terrible. When I moved my mother out after COVID, did a walk thru and asked if there will be any fees for ending the lease early we were told no because they already have someone to move in ASAP. To our surprise, my mother was charged a $1000 fee. Fine so we will pay it. The catch is, they have been sending the invoice to the apartment she moved out of after we gave management the keys and forwarding address. Since the mail was being forwarded it took over a month to get to the new address. At that point management sent my mom's account to collections. Now we are dealing with collectors that want over $500 more for the account being delinquent. My advice, don't use Navada Hand management and don't stay at Horozon Pines Apt. Place has gone down hill ove
