WOW THIS PLACE IS TERRIBLE Yelp does reflect this to be a closed business however I didnt realize that and drove from Seattle to tour this apartment. I wish I had taken the time to check Yelp first! I was greeted by a staff member who told me " Yeah I have meetings all day, youll have to come back". Make sure you tell them in the meetings that you turned away a potential client for your meeting! The entire place is also surrounded by homeless. This is literally a warehouse. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Toured here the first week of November 2025. After walking through the building that is very clearly not taken care of (and the elevator that doesn’t seem like it passed any inspections), the current leasing manager (former maintenance) took us to a potential unit that was “tucked away”. He tried to open the door to the unit to which he was pushed back by a homeless man and his girlfriend who were apparently squatting in the unit. The leasing manager then got into a physical altercation with the homeless man which took them all the way down to the street. Not only was the situation completely escalated for no reason, but the building itself clearly has no care for security or anything like that. Would tell you that the pictures may look very nice online, but the units don’t match whatsoeve

I love this space so much! The Honeyman helped me find the footing on my gallery and my art career! One of the very last unique special places in Portland that offers live work spaces! The staff is incredible, and I enjoy the residents as well. I can’t recommend this place more! Will always be near and dear to my heart ❤️

$300 for ONE PARKING SPACE IS INSANE and that’s coming from someone from LOS ANGELES. We’ve toured countless apartments in Portland, Vancouver, and Los Angeles in the last few months and we have never EVERRRRR seen $300 parking!!!!!!! NOT EVEN CLOSE!!!!! The most we’ve seen was in Los Angeles and it was $150 for a EV spot!! Absolutely insane. Period. I don’t know who owns this building but $600 for two parking spaces is absolutely ridiculous and just plain highway robbery. As two young professionals we need two vehicles. If you want lower class people with no cars and no jobs to move in then I guess keep charging $600 for parking. The units have a lot of character but the building itself is run down, dirty, and there are zero amenities. I guarantee you would have a lot less vacancies if yo

Four years into my Honeyman tenancy, I want to reiterate how special this building is and the staff who maintain her. I see some complaints on here from folks who love the idea of living in an old loft, but expect the same cardboard quality of the newer, soulless, rabbit warrens that rent for more. Does this building have quirks and character? Yes. Are they part of her charm? Absolutely. Special shout out to Jose, Aryn, and Nas for always going the extra mile for us.
