Hometown Property Management

Renting a property managed by Hometown Property Management has been a complete nightmare. Over the course of three years, we faced a multitude of problems including unreliable AC, no fire detectors, broken lights, windows, and faulty electrical outlets. Despite numerous complaints, Hometown Property Management consistently refused to address these issues, even though they were inherited from the previous tenants. To make matters worse, they withheld the previous tenants' security deposit while neglecting any necessary repairs. It wasn't until three years later that they bothered to conduct a house inspection. Avoid this company at all costs; their lack of responsibility and poor service is simply unacceptable.

As of October 2023, this company no longer accepts cash as a form of rent payment. Checks, money orders, or payments through Appfolio are the only way to pay rent. So, you will be paying a fee to pay your rent should you make the mistake of renting from this company. EDIT: If you link your bank account to your Appfolio profile and give these people access to your financial information, then the 10$ fee is waived.

Explained my background before ever filling out the application. Was told by 2diffrent ladies in the office oh that's no big deal its just procedure. We will rent to you. With them knowing I wouldn't pass the back ground check they still took my money. They are liers and thieves in that office. And take advantage of as many people as they can . It is a possibility poor company to deal with. Good luck. I paid my debt to society and it's terrible to have to pay for it trying to get housing

Horrible dishonest and ignorant of the laws. They have to be one of the most unprofessional excuse for a business in the mov.
