I’ve rented with Hometown Properties for 2 years, just recently moving out to buy my own home. I worked specifically with Grady. The whole time he was extremely nice and helpful. Anytime something came up, they were on it extremely fast. I never had to wait for any maintenance or anything, it was all very quickly done. Specifically I had issues with my AC once and within an hour they had a guy at my house fixing the issue. The rent price was fair and they took very good care of me. I’d recommend renting or buying with these guys.

THEY STEAL SECURITY DEPOSITS!!! The leasing agreement states they will return it within 2 weeks after your move out date! Moved out on May 17. It is now July 9 and we still have not received anything. Not only that we were charged over $600 for cleaning, but I have pictures and videos of how we left the unit in great condition . They have not returned any of my emails or my calls asking for assistance in getting my security deposit back or seeing what exactly they charge me for cleaning when I have receipts that we left the unit in good condition. We also fulfill the full lease obligation and we do not owe them anything so there’s really no reason to keep, any of our security deposit. I’ve attached pictures of how the unit was left.

If I could give them zero stars, I would. I lived in one of their homes for two years, and the rental was arranged by a graduate school program that I was a part of. During two months rent was double paid and the company REFUSED to even acknowledge that this happened. When we realized that rent had been paid twice, we tried every means possible to talk to them about this issue and get the couple of thousand dollars that they owed me back. However, they completely ignored every attempt to get in contact and address this issue. We were never late with our payments and they had no right to withhold this overpayment. They stole money from us and refused to pay us back. There were also mice in the house on and off over the course of the two years in which we lived there. While the landl

Have been trying to get my security deposit back for MONTHS no response from the team. You call the phone and can’t get an answer from the team it prompts you to leave a voicemail . I have sent emails and contact the office over 20 times no answer. No call back no email response. I’m sick of it this is ridiculous!!! UPDATE TO RESPOND TO OWNER I have now added photos to the review since you seem to only respond when someone says something publicly. We left the unit in GREAT CONDITION PLEASE SEE PHOTOS BELOW SINCE WE WERE CHARGED OVER $600 FOR CLEANING IN WHICH WE STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE REMAINING BALANCE HAD SOMEONE RETURNED MY CALLS AND EMAILS THIS WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN MADE IT PUBLIC ! IT DIDNT TAKE US 2 MONTHS TO PROVIDE A SECURITY DEPOSIT SO WHY DOES IT TAKE 2 MONTHS TO GET IT BACK?
