This review is specifically for Daniel Zlockie. Dan the Mortgage Man (yes thats what my husband and I call him!) is wonderful. He answered all my questions at all hours of the day (sorry Dan!) and in full detail. I never felt like I was bothering him with my questions (which is HUGE as this was our first mortgage) and he answered my questions thoroughly and made sure we were on the same page at all times. Besides being professional, he was fun and kind. We really appreciate his hard work and would recommend his services to others!

We do not recommend Homespire Mortgage. This was one of the worst real estate transactions we've ever experienced—and I've personally been involved in over a dozen. From the very beginning, the communication was severely lacking, and the overall handling of our loan felt careless and unprofessional. Major concerns: Unauthorized Rate Lock: They locked in an interest rate without informing us, even though closing was over 60 days out. This happened when rates were falling, and they claimed they were “trying to get us a better deal,” which never materialized. As a result, we're stuck paying a rate half a percent higher than necessary. Unreachable Broker: Our broker was consistently unavailable—on vacation, out of the office, or just unresponsive.
