With any business deal, including renting, good communication and clear expectations are key. My experience has been that as long as you communicate your needs efficiently, HNR/The Realtor will communicate back and acknowledge and address the issue. This is a business and making money is essential to sustaining it. Over the past year that I’ve occupied one of their properties (tenancy since August 2024), I’ve found the owner and staff to be respectful and generally responsive when issues come up.

10 out of 10 Do NOT recommend. Poor communication, does NOT offer after hour emergency work orders or service. Everything is rigged to work 50% of the time or hit and miss and instead of doing the repairs correctly they just “fix” it until the next few days. Hot water heater shooting water on first day of moving in as soon as the City connected the water on a Monday at 2pm, the owner can’t send anyone to fix the issue until Friday at the earliest. How is one supposed to live without running hot water but they definitely want their rent on time and in full. If I could give negative stars I definitely would. The leasing manager is sweet and does the best she can. She is the only good thing to be involved with the piss poor company.

When I looked at this house there was a few things wrong with the property. The house was not clean there was no stove. when I went back to the office and told them about it they said they would have it clean before I move in and they would have a stove there before I moved in so when I received a call saying I was approved they charged me double deposit without checking my credit after being told that it was my credit. when myself and the movers came to the property there was still no stove and nobody came to clean the house. Once my power was turned on I realize that the air condition did not turn on he told me to stop calling his phone. next I had put all my food in the refrigerator enough for me to notice the refrigerator or wires were cut the next morning and all my food. Very poor customer service! I left the house completely empty and clean but he still charge for a cleaning fee, air filter(mine was 2 weeks old), and to cut grass …. He still hasn’t returned my security deposit or released a statement ….he doesn’t reply to emails and when I call his employee apologizes for his actions and just tell me it’s nothing she can do until he comes in
