Hollybrook Homes Apartments

I don't mind the apartments so much. But I do have a real issue with the property managers. I live here currently. When I moved in my ex husband was living here. He moved out months ago, they REFUSE to remove him from the lease. They won't take his income off my lease either. Yet they expect me to cover his income portion, when I don't make the money he did. Now they want to try and serve me with a notice, when they refuse to do their job.

I stayed here in 2005 after my divorce. I worked at Shands hospital at the time and I did not have a problem at all. I was not with the drama that be going on with those young fast girls that be fighting after the security guard leaves at night. I always felt safe staying here with the guard doing their safety checks and at the gate. Beggars can not be choosers! I was broke, young (I was 19) and a single parent with no place to go and they helped me get on my feet. Be about your business and hang with ppl that’s trying to better their self and you’ll go far. I would only talk with the elderly people that was around. The front staff was helpful and they still go have a range of activities in the gym area. I hate that people call places that Black people stay "Hood". It is an insult to our race!!!!!!!!! And the people that talk the worse about our communities is our own people. Why? Where is our pride and dignity at? Start organizing block parties and get know each other while cleaning up our communities. Let's help one another to stand! Be the change that you seek to find.
