HOC at Battery Lane

We recently went through the move-in process here and had a really positive experience. The management was welcoming and communicated clearly about the move-in costs and next steps, which made the process smooth. They took the time to walk us through the apartment and answer our questions, which we appreciated. The apartment itself is clean, spacious, and well maintained. We also liked that the staff was open about different layout options and willing to discuss availability. Overall, the process felt organized and professional. Looking forward to settling in and being part of the community!

Lelvin perez I was in the Bethesda area last week ago and stopped by HOC at Battery Lane looking for an apartment for an apartment. Ms. Norka was coming out of her office and pointed me to the leasing office to get the information I needed. I was able to see two apartments choose which was convenient as it made me feel like I options. The whole staff was very friendly and helpful reaching out to me to see if I had any other questions or need it any further assistance.

I received a call this week from this leasing office which were checking to see if I was still interested in getting an apartment at HOC at Battery Lane. The staff member that been assisting me, Adah, was very friendly and helpful, plus she speaks Spanish which was super helpful for me as I could fully understand what was happening. I used to live in the property, the staff was always friendly and helpful. The area is super convenient as there are multiple stores and groceries at walk distance as well the public transportation. I would recommend and will go back if I ever move back to Maryland.

While HOC at Battery Lane is one of the most affordable options in Bethesda, the quality of life surely reflects that. Our unit in building 4858 was infested with German cockroaches and it took 8 months for management to provide enough pest control treatment to reduce the infestation. A friend in building 4998 also experienced a roach infestation. Additionally, in June, the central AC in 4858 was broken, making my 4th floor unit 90+ degrees for 2 weeks. Only when residents reported the conditions to county housing authority did they attempt to make accommodations. Due to poor upkeep & maintenance of units and shared spaces (such as the laundry room often with 3/5 machines broken), I would not recommend living here.
