I rented a property for 4 plus years with Hinson Realty as the property managers. The owners of the home were difficult, failed to communicate & too often delayed several months to repair concerns. In some instances the owners refused to repair certain large concerns. However despite the owners being so difficult, Hinson Realty were absolute professionals. They always defended the owners while at the same time advocating for us the renters & always providing us temporary alternatives & resolutions. I would undoubtedly recommend Hinson Realty not only as a renter to work with but also as a property owner. I was consistently impressed with the owner Terrence and his team including Joy & especially Taylor who always provided quick responses. Not only were the responses quick but were sincere

Professional and Helpful Administrators, Skilled and Qualified Staff, courteous through the entire process no matter the issue, fast turnaround, and thoughtful assistance. The support team and maintenance staff are trustworthy and reliable.

Do not stay at any of his properties. Not only are they all poorly kept, but management or the lack thereof takes their time to fix anything. I lived there 2 years because it was all I could afford at the time. I moved into a dirty apartment with a broken AC. Horrible roach problem that they never tried to fix. I have since moved out and they have not returned my security deposit. Over 2 months ago! They never return calls and when you need to talk to Mr Hinson he is never available and does not return correspondences. Pay the extra money to live somewhere worthwhile.

I lived at one of Terrence Hinson's properties almost 3 years ago! After he evicted me due to "a breach of the pet policy" I took him to court for my security deposit of $425. After winning my case I have yet to receive payment of my security deposit. In fact, 3 years later and probably $100s in interest fees Mr. Hinson probably owes me close to one thousand dollars. After sharing my experience via Facebook I discovered that several of my friends had the SAME experience with him and still had not been repaid their security deposit. If you want to waste money on a poorly managed property and deal with an unprofessional man like Terrence and his staff, if you want someone to STEAL your security deposit and never give it back, if you want to deal with a con man like Terrence Hinson then rent

Originally I applied for a rental but no one would contact me back after it looked like another applicant was approved. I asked for my application fee back but never received a response. I stopped reaching out after several weeks of no response. A month later I was told that I was approved and would get an approval letter but then no one contacted me back. It seems like all games, it might be this specific property but I don't get the feeling that this is too far off of how most people are treated. I'd factor this into your decision making process if you are considering using this company.
