Hillsborough Title - South Tampa

I refer my clients to Hillsborough title and have used them for closings on my own sales. They're very prompt and deliver excellent customer service. I work with Joellen over there and she goes above and beyond taking calls on her personal cell phone to help me with title questions and issues. She reaches out the underwriters if needed to help figure out solutions for my clients unique situations. I highly recommend Hillsborough title.

The person handling the closing up to the day of closing was knowledgable but seemed disinterested with short answers when I called to ask questions. The people the day of closing were terrific to include the notary and the person she brought on to witness. All around a great experience.

Horrible experience ! They’ll lie; say anything and make false assurances, to get you to closing then change the story! Their disclosure/waiver is an honest reflection of the quality of this company ethics=none.. They ask you to sign away your privacy rights, ask you to reveal “any and all” bank information even thought they only need access to specific loan payoff info, ask you to approve them sharing your personal Information with anyone they choose inside or out side the company! Best advise: DO NOT TRUST/USE Hillsboro title!

The absolute worst experience ever. As a Real Estate agent, I've worked with several title companies, and this location is the absolute worst. Very unprofessional, they do not return calls, respond to emails in a timely manner, or even acknowledge receipt of documents. Worst of all, they fail to follow specific requirements for smooth closings, which resulted in funding not being able to be finalized until a week after closing. It may have just been the employee we worked with, but it was horrible. I've worked with their location in Plant City, and the process was smooth and seamless.
