Highland Park

Had an apartment tour, arrived 30 minutes early and after sending messages, emails and calling, no one responded. I waited there until 2pm when my appointment was at 1pm. I had confirmed my appointment twice beforehand. After that no one tried contacting me again so maybe I dodged a bullet if this is what the office is like before you even sign the lease.

I've had such a great experience living at Highland Park! The management team is professional, responsive, and truly cares about the residents. Maintenance requests are handled quickly, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. The apartment itself is clean, modern, and well-maintained. I love the layout, the natural lighting, and the attention to detail in the finishes. The neighborhood is safe and conveniently located near restaurants, shops, bars, and parks all within walking distance. It feels like a real community here, and I’m proud to call it home. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable, stress-free place to live!

9/9 Edit - And now my roommate's bike is gone from the bike room...it's truly just one thing after another with this place. DO NOT LIVE HERE! I honestly can't emphasize this enough...if there was a zero star rating, that's what this place would get. 9/7 - Update in response to Cornerstone's reply: we were given 2 days to complete the "move-in conditions" form. That is not enough time to find problems in an apartment, as we were concentrating on moving our property in. I submitted a work order promptly after moving in to fix our shower (water does not get very hot), bedroom door (falling apart), dryer blows straight into the apartment (was told "part was ordered"), and missing pieces for our dishwasher (still waiting on those as well). It's been a month and these still haven't been fixed.

I had a poor experience living in this apartment complex. The only reason why I'm not giving this building one star is because of the maintenance team — they were super responsive when my closet doors broke and fixed the heat when temps dropped below 60° in the apartment in January. But that's where the good stuff ends. The management company (Cornerstone) removed our parking mid-lease and overcharged us for the tiniest cleaning issues that could have been easily handled with a quick spray of Lysol. Firstly, Cornerstone removed my included parking mid-lease. This change was incredibly inconvenient and disruptive, especially when you consider the consistent street sweeping tickets given to street parkers. Well below average property with terrible leasing service. I was approved for a unit that had a random hole above the toilet when I toured and asked the leasing agent why was it there he brushed it off and seemed in a rush for other tours. Zac was my leasing agent I would not recommend him at all. Save your money and time!!!
