As a first time homebuilder, I was nervous about the process, but Highland Homes DFW made it stress-free. Their design consultants were knowledgeable and patient, guiding me through every decision. The construction team was professional and kept me updated throughout the build. I'm thrilled with the quality and craftsmanship of my new home. I regret ever trusting this builder with what was supposed to be our dream home. Instead, it has turned into a health hazard, a financial drain, and a never-ending battle with incompetence and negligence. **I live in The Parks at Wilson creek, Celina, TX. Try to knock the door of any home built by Highland Homes you will listen a sad story. 1. Severe Health Issues– Since moving in, my entire family, including my 2 & 5-year-old kids, has suffered from chronic respiratory problems. I now have severe asthma, and even steroid prescriptions aren’t helping. The air quality in this house is toxic, and the builder refuses to take responsibility. 2. Furnace Installed Wrong – They installed an incorrectly sized furnace and did it so poorly that we had to fight for months just to get a half-baked

My husband and I went to tour a new community in Rockwall area at Quail Hallow to buy and build and the sales agents were less than interested in our business. We seemed like a bother when we were asking about open lots and they basically brushed us off. Considering they have a whole phase 2 to sell, I would rethink the strategy. We decided to go to another builder due to our experience but if I were the owner, I’d have a talk with the agents bc they are costing them business.

Highland homes built my house. They did not install proper waterproofing membrane in the master bath. I informed them of this and it took 5 days to receive a response. I had to hire a plumber to fix it (and address the massive water damage - plumber confirmed it was due to poor construction) and highland homes refused to pay for the plumbing failure. The claim I should have continued to allow the leak to flood my home until they responded (5+ days later) if I wanted them to cover the costs. They admit it was a failure in building quality but also refuse to take financial responsibility

We purchased a highland home in Kyle, Texas. Highland is not honoring any of our warranty requests and Brady has continuously ignored our request to fix our ceilings. We are within our one year warranty and highland is dragging their feet. I regret purchasing this home. I wish highland would purchase the home back from us because the quality is so terrible. Our ceilings are lumpy. They have sent the same contractors out continuously to fix the same problem repeatedly. Stay away from Highland at all cost as they will treat you differently as a minority.
