Warning: Serious safety issues brushed off by upper management. My apartment was accessed TWICE without my permission by another resident of the building. Even when presented with video evidence of the unauthorized access and confirmation from onsite maintenance that my door lock was properly working, I received no form of acknowledgement from Dolben. In fact, those at Dolben tried to place all of the blame on the resident, stating that it was "an honest mistake" that an unauthorized resident was able to access my apartment TWICE. They never addressed the question of how this other resident had a key that had access to my apartment or their role in programming and giving them said key. My partner and I loved living at HH! Aneesa and Tristan are so great to work with and more organized than the first property managers I worked with when we moved in last year. Truly, it was a change we noticed when management switched. Aneesa and Tristan are attentive and answered any questions we had as quick as they could, and try to help out as best they can. Also, the appliances were great and we loved how big the bathtubs were + water pressure is good too. Washer and dryer in unit was also great. We had some issues with our packages getting stolen but the leasing team was on it right away and handled the matter very professionally, which we were very appreciative of, and took it into their own hands to make sure the packages were placed in a locked room only residents had access to b

Be aware that previous management was encouraging residents/applicants to give 5* reviews. I believe this apartment, like any, has its good and bad features. Good: Maintenance is done promptly with the new management, the soundproofing between apartments is good. No pest issues. Bad: Management is slow to communicate. Preventative/routine maintenance (i.e. changing filters) is never performed. Garage has had car break-ins and bike thefts even with locks.

Highly recommend Highland Haus for renting in Baltimore (Highlandtown), Maryland. The apartments have hardwood floors, brand new appliances, spacious bathrooms with ample countertop space. They are also pet friendly and have a super cool feature which is the dog walk up on the top floor- you can let your pets out to go to the bathroom when it is late at night or during inclement weather. The fob access ensures your safety and your packages are always delivered securely. Shannon and Michelle are extremely kind and helpful with any questions you may have and are very friendly! The maintenance crew is superb as well and respond almost immediately to any inquiries. Very happy I spent my time here in Bmore. Oh and the views are fab as well

I applied 3/1 and got no communication for 3 days unless I called or emailed and then all I heard was "my manager is checking on it" I just sold my house and am living in my friends basement. They said is was a debt to income ratio, but I sold the house and I told them that. I also told them I could provide a larger deposit if necessary and nothing. The actual apartment are nice enough, but what if the hot water heater broke or some other issue, would I get "my manager is checking on it" for 3 days? You can find 100 apartment buildings in Baltimore that have similar amenities and rent, why would I live here?
