Hidden Firs Apartments

Okay so this apartment complex has a lot of bad reviews, however I want to actually shed some light. They are now currently owned by the PCHA - and ever since then, this place has been seriously cleaned up. My apartment has no infestations like ants, bedbugs, cockroaches, etc. It is also free of mold entirely. Not a single spec of black mold or mold of any sort. This is coming from someone with immense health issues where infestations and mold would foster a dangerous environment for me. The landlord Maria is amazing. Everytime we have met up to talk, she checks in with me to see how everything else is going, if there is anything I need help with and if the apartment is okay. Do not live here worst two years of my life the first management lady we had was stealing money and left her place a disgusting mess due to her doing some scandalous things. Then new management came and that was even worse! I was dealing with horrible BLACK mold and serious ant problems. I had to consistently clean the mold myself and submitted multiple requests. Issue never got resolved. Not only did I have mold but my neighbors did as well and multiple others in the complex. If you care about your health please do not move here I have a feeling they will just hide and paint over these mold issues considering it was never taken serious when I brought it up to management. Very interesting management style... They prefer the "put notices on your door and send you notices in the mail rather than knock on your door" approach. Conviently located next to the homeless camp which makes for all night fun. The garbage is perpetually overloaded due to rampant dumping from people that don't even live in the apartment complex. A definite step above homelessness.

Something is off about this place. Joy Clendening, the property manager, set up a tour with me, called me day-of to confirm the appointment, then didn't show up. No email or call, nothing. Honestly I'm glad I dodged a bullet.

I have lived at this property for about a year. The only reason I am leaving is my boyfriend and I were approved to rent a home. The maintenance manager is on site and always helpful. The property manager here is always a phone call or text away if theres any questions. They made moving in process really easy. The only downside to the apartments is the area its in. My car was broken into but nothing of importance was in the car. This is a great place if you're looking for something that wont break the bank and it really is hidden by the surrounding trees which does provide a nice level of privacy from the busy road and home depot parking lot.
