Hickory Hill Apartments

Sheesh I really can relate to these reviews. They never fixed anything but stayed on you about rent. I moved in 2020-2023 and they went up on rent every 3 months. Water stayed shutting off, toilet stayed stopped up. Water coming out the water heater into the bedroom carpet. Apartment stayed flooded. I moved out and let my niece move in which they did leave me a debt owed. The office sent me an eviction letter to my new address. I just tried reaching out to them by phone leaving voicemails to find out what is the name of the collection agency they go through so I can get the eviction removed because I’m trying to purchase my house and I have to clear my debts. They won’t return my calls. They have caller ID so maybe they see me calling and refuse to answer.

I lived at Hickory Hill for a 1 year. When I moved in the bedroom carpets were 3 to 4 years old the office staff said my apartment had been cleaned. I cleaned it and shampooed the carpets. I gave them a months notice that I was moving and would not renew my lease. I left a couch and 1 bag of blankets. The apartment was cleaner when I left than it was when I moved in before I cleaned it. The office kept my $450.00 deposit and tried to charge me an additional $150.00 in cleaning fees. They said the carpets had to be shampooed and the maintenance man had to dispose of the couch. The maintenance man kept the couch lol. WTH, the carpets need to be replaced, they are 4 to 5 years old. They inside time I lived there the gym was closed. The maintenance man was so lazy he wouldn't unlock the laund

This Community has been reported to Fair Housing. Units on this property have been without over two weeks. Water was disconnected without proper notice to tenants. Many people here have small children as well as elderly people occupying units. There is also a bad Roach infestation in which case nobody from the Rental office has addressed. Pest Control is nonexistent. Do not believe every good review you see on google. Better to ask multiple people who you see on the property.

Do not recommend anyone moving out here we went without anything being fixed the whole two years they tell other residents your business we had mold and mildew on everything even my kids stuff we couldn't take anything bc mold was on everything and bc they don't want to fix anything at all then play crazy infant of corporate like they don't know you been put work orders in my home was broken into by the people working there check stolen and everything they put us out after knowing we was moving anyway and now all my property catching mold lawsuit on the way

They are full of s;!% with this new office lady there I just moved out a few months ago when tesa was there and the new lady tells me that I couldn't get a apartment because I have an eviction on public records but it was thrown out (I clearly says case dismissed) Now mind you I left there in good standards and I have nothing on my credit and she still denied me! Full of s%÷!× I do not recommend moving here while she is there since then a lot of people I know there wants to move out once there lease up! Please don't go here unless u ain't go no choice at all.
