Okay so my girlfriend who lives here 3 years? Anyway I moved in with her and her lease was up. And we were looking for potential apartment complexes. Then we noticed that they had newly renovated units within Hickory Creek. So we rented another one bedroom that had been renovated. We were not given the opportunities to look over the unit before we sign the lease The first time we saw it was the day we got the key and when the lease started. We were disappointed from the beginning when we walked in. I tried to put silverware in one of the kitchen drawers at the front of the door fell off. Several of the doors in the kitchen are not square and have visible gaps. My first shower in the unit a piece of plaster fell on my head from where they had patched over a leak and it's obvious that there
I've lived here for about two years now and haven't been satisfied with the management, leasing office, or maintenance team once. The lack of communication is such a disappointment. It all started with our washer being broken. I sent an email about the issues of trying to reach someone in the leasing office/maintenance. This email, to no one's surprise, was not responded to. I discussed how we had no washer for almost a month and no one was making a big deal out of it. There was no communication about what was going on and when there was communication(after I had to show up at the leasing office) they lied about having our washer. Again, the communication is lacking. After that we had issues with our AC and no one again would pick up the phone or call us back. The maintenance requests ar
When we first moved in we thought it was a nice apartment complex and pretty fair pricing… should’ve read the reviews! We’ve quickly discovered how poor the upkeep is of the apartments. We had countless issues and had to fight in order to get things fixed. The issues began on DAY ONE! We were given a move in list to detail any and all defects of the unit. First, the apartment was dirty. The sinks and bathtub had an orange oily residue, the carpets had stains and burn marks, the walls looked to be shoddily painted and some had holes in it. Our balcony had huge holes in it, ranging from the size of quarters to a baseball! The trim of the baseboards were unfinished and looked to be glued and were popping off in the kitchen and living room. We had detailed all of this in the move in checklist
Current office management is not helpful. Issue with fireplace took over 3 months to fix. They offered a 500 dollar credit so I stayed. Current work order is going on 5 weeks. They do not communicate or seem to want to cooperate. Place is getting more run down. One month since this was posted and nothing has been done. Trash still on the ground and nothing has been addressed. Recent email went unanswered. SMH.
I have been living in this apartment for 6 months and unfortunately, the maintenance service has been extremely disappointing. Recently, I had a major washroom issue and some minor issues regarding paint. Even after I reported it, the response was very slow and ineffective. When I tried to address the issue myself, I discovered that basic maintenance tasks had been neglected. Pipes were clogged beyond the sink trap, indicating a long-term buildup that should have been prevented with routine inspections. Despite informing the management, the solution provided was temporary at best, and the problem reoccurred almost immediately. It’s frustrating to pay rent that includes maintenance services, only to receive inadequate assistance and poor follow-through. Requests are either delayed, dismis
