I have stayed here for a bit over a year. I had very little to no issues with my first year staying here and felt that the staff is great and the last assistant manager that I worked with on some occasions. The maintenance has been great when they do come and check on the small issues like changing light or needing a filter changed up until covid-19. issues with my AC unit started happening to go on my second year which took almost 2 months to repair and had to submit 3 requests as they would mark it repaired when it wasn't working properly. They did finally get someone in who repaired the issue so I was hopeful going forward with a new lease agreement. Unfortunately, Covid-19 happened and the quality got worse than the virus itself. Chroma Park/Hercules Living is a horrible company to lease from. I lived there before Hercules Living bought out the previous owner . First they change the due date for the rent it had to be turned in on the 2nd or it was late. Second they started changing all the signs before cleaning the complex and remodel the leasing office. The staff is horrible. One with tattoos all over her body;the property manager who thinks she know everything and she don't. And the other female working in the office that live in the complex who would smoke weed and have parties and the neighbors called the police on. Upton moving in day 1 we saw roaches and every appliance was broken from roaches in the stove to the dishwasher had broken parts in it not being used for the first 3 weeks and the freezer is broken and melting all our food. We have mice and my 4 year old is scared due to the mice running around and seeing nasty roaches. The management doesn't seem to care about us. My fiancee lost 2 days of work due to having to go to the doctor because she had bug bites all over her body about 30 or so bug bites some were swelling up and doctor said they were indeed bug bites . We asked leasing office to cover thr lost wages and doctor fees and they laughed at us. This is at Amber Commons in Gaithersburg Md.

terrible rental office and staff, Apartments are filled with mold, here is my actual apartment with BLACK Mold which turned out to give me Upper respiratory infections and hazardous for my son!! The office staff has a high turn over rate and in return does not handle business properly or turn in office documents. new staff has to figure out things that old staff did and paperwork is lost i moved out when my lease was up only to find out that paper work was not put in properly to me possibly being charged for occupancy for a place i was not living in ..DO NOT MOVE HERE

This management company reported me to a bill collector after i moved out at the end of my lease. Mind you i had put down a deposit of $800 . They never even tried to contact me to tell me about it .And yes they had my phone number and Email address. I'm very disappointed because they ruined my credit just because they didn't do their job . so i will never know why they claimed i owe them money when i believed they owe me money .
