Headwaters Apartments

I lived in a single bedroom apartment at Headwaters Apartments for over 4.5 years (2021-2025) and had a genuinely great experience. I enjoyed that my apartment had in-unit laundry, a spacious bathroom, and a balcony and was a comfortable size for both my large dog and me. The community is fairly quiet and respectful, made up of mostly young professionals and older adults. It’s a pet-friendly community, and was a great place for my dog to live too. A lot of residents have dogs of all sizes, and I never had any issues. I love that the neighborhood is green and walkable. Spring Garden Park is just down the street and Multnomah Village and Gabriel Park are very close too, which was perfect for daily walks and runs. The location is great. My daughter and I have lived at the Headwaters Apartments for almost nine years, and we would happily continue staying here if I hadn’t recently purchased a condo. I can’t say enough good things about this place - both the management and maintenance staff have always been responsive, kind and extremely helpful. We truly enjoyed living here and felt well taken care of. And of course, we’ll miss our wonderful neighbors too :)

After leasing a two-bedroom at the Headwaters Apartments in July, I'm happy to report I'm thrilled with my lovely apartment and thankful I made the choice to rent here over other rentals I'd been considering. The property management has high professional standards, maintenance is very responsive to requests, and secure access to the building is tightly controlled. I feel safe here. And the grounds are beautifully landscaped; the view from my overlarge windows is all vibrant autumn foliage and a mass of turning leaves. The apartment community seems to be a mix of young professionals and retirees, and the residents are friendly and respectful - holding elevator doors for each other and exchanging greetings while collecting their mail. The Headwaters buildings are very well managed. The resident manager and maintenance technician were always available and ready to be of service. This attention to detail from management proved especially helpful in my transitioning lifestyle. The Headwaters provided me an excellent experience in this conveniently located multi tenant rental apartment.

Apartment is an excellent value for the area. Management and maintenance is always responsive to our needs. We have lived here for many years and as long as we are renting, we plan to stick around.
