Dan Foley with HC Design Build did a great remodel job for us. It was a complex project and Dan worked with us throughout the whole process.

These guys did an excellent job installing our range hood and all the necessary ductwork, none of which had ever been installed previously in the home. The work was completed efficiently in a short amount of time and our final cost was within the price range quoted up front. Dan is very knowledgeable and came up with a plan that fit within our budget given the space we were working with. I am very pleased with the results and would definitely recommend HC Design-Build to anyone who is looking for someone to do renovations and/or upgrades in their home.

Dan was the contractor of my old and almost rotten house in VT. I didn’t give him a detailed floor plan but told him my limited budget. He added many ideas to the reality. For instance, I asked him to install bulkhead doors. He not only did it but also added a removable balcony over them. It looked very nice. This is just a sample of his excellent ideas. I believe it proves that creativity is his strong quit.

Three years ago, Dan installed new cabinets, a soapstone counter and a new sink and faucet in my 140-year-old pantry. He did this according to my specification that this be accomplished without removing any walls or other structural elements. The room layout works well and looks charming. His craftsmanship and integrity are of the highest standard. Added to this is his sense of thrift. I wanted a specific sink and faucet which he felt were too expensive for what I would get. He offered several alternatives of the same quality.

Dan is a very honest and trustworthy person. He had extremely good work ethic. I look up to Dan in many ways. He always goes above and beyond of what is expected.
