Hartz Homes Leigh Creek

Very happy with our Hartz home! We bought in February of 24. Moved in December. We have been here three months and are very satisfied with our house. In our short time, it seems very solid and well built. Michelle was very helpful through the whole process from start to finish

Our experience with Hartz has been a mix of highs and lows. On the positive side, the overall homebuilding process was both easy and enjoyable. Michelle at Hartz was fantastic to work with—she guided us through every step, clearly explained what to expect, and maintained excellent communication throughout the build. We love the house, and we’re very happy with the neighborhood! However, a major issue arose during the final walkthrough when we discovered that the wrong cabinets had been installed in both the kitchen and bathrooms. Hartz acknowledged the mistake and gave us two options: keep the incorrect cabinets in exchange for compensation or have the correct ones installed. We chose the latter and were told it would take 3-4 weeks for the new cabinets to arrive. Unfortunately, it took

DO NOT BUY HARTZ HOMES!! They still give you features that where in my parents home that was built in 1980. We have the same banisters. The quality of these homes are devastatingly terrible. Our home shakes in strong winds. The Windows whistle. We have cracks in the dry wall and humps and bumps in our floor that cost us a ton of money. They build your house for 100k and then charge triple that amount. Save yourself years of heartache and dont buy or build with hartz. We are going to have to spend a ton of money to fix our home or make it look up to date..even though we upgraded alot and spent a ton of money...we have only been in our "new" home for a year, too.

Love my new home! We had many choices. Some upgrades were reasonably priced others were not. We liked the idea that we could pick and choose what was important to us. Our sales person helped us every step of the way.

Have a million excuses as to why things are built wrong. If you like leaky ceilings, foots that can't close properly die to being installed incorrectly, the cheapest windows ever installed in a home and extremely shotty work, then this builder is for you!
