Hartford Homes at Trailside on Harmony

It takes a lot of serious challenges for me to write a negative review, but I think people should know what they are getting into when they buy a house in this neighborhood. I wish I had known, for sure. The neighborhood is nice. Neighbors are good. But the builder…what a challenge in dealing with them through the warranty process. Their contractors were clearly the absolute worst, and we have to deal with them now. The warranty manager does nothing but field messages and connect us with the trade responsible for the issue. The trades are impossible to deal with and haven’t been able to fix anything so far. We are also still waiting for our defective lock to be fixed. I have sent 2-3 messages and still stuck with a lock that doesn’t work properly. The stovetop doesn’t work properly. The el

We live in the community, and the music by the contractors is super loud and disturbing. I had asked for them to community to address it, and they have not. I’m talking very, very loud that you can hear it in the house and can’t sit outside. I called and emailed Hartford several times, and the music still is played at high volumes. We get the hammering and such, but allowing contractors to blast the music in a quiet neighborhood is bananas. Just know this if you are buying a new home, you will have to listen to loud music all day, every day except Sunday until the community is built.

We’re coming up on our 4th (!!!) year in our Hartford Home, and we continue to be so thankful to live in this community with great neighbors and having worked with such a great builder throughout the process. We originally toured the model homes on a whim and within a week we were under contract. We received photo updates, scheduled tours, and were able to contact the builders and make adjustments when we noticed a couple red flags - nothing major but we were happy with the outcome. If we could offer our best advice to new homebuyers it’s “you can never ask too many questions,” and our Hartford team was awesome and accommodating.

Went to look at homes. First on our list of stops that day. Toured three models which were all beautiful. Next day, bought the spec home we toured, we loved it so much! The location is great - up and coming area. The community is adorable! We are SO looking forward to living here!!!!

We are building our home here at Trailside and our experience has been nothing short of amazing! Truly could not recommend Hartford more and our neighborhood is going to be incredible. The guys building our house have been so kind and they are doing an incredible job. Our home looks beautiful and we couldn’t be more excited!
