Harbor Hill Apartments

These apartments are centrally-located 2 blocks from the Inner Harbor and across the street from beautiful Federal Hill Park, but knowing this, the owners/ and most of the management do as little as possible for the tenants. The owners, a mega-company out-of-state in New York City, are set on ripping off the tenants, and probably their employees, who are mostly checked out. I was mislead when I moved in, into thinking I would be able to get street parking. But as a resident of a building with more than 4 units, I was disqualified from the city affordable street parking rates. The parking lot rate was $135/month when I moved in. The sliding gate to the lot was frequently left open for days at a time, there were unattended potholes in the lot, and dark parking lot lights. After one month o

I spoke with the office personnel and was told there is nothing they can do. Added note in response to their response. I love living here and the people that run the the building are all very nice and always helpful. My reason for a 3 star review is the fact that they raised my monthly rent by $153.00. It's a 7% increase. I thought of moving but the cost of moving would be higher than paying the rent increase. I asked if this is a normal rent increase, apparently there's some type of system they shows the value of the apartment each year and that's how they base their increase. Now it's a matter of how to budget your money so you can pay the increase. I think with the crazy economy and prices of everything you need rising steadily that might be considered as part of their decision.

I cannot say enough great things about Tracy and Harbor Hill Apartments. My husband and I lived there for 4 years and wouldn't change a thing. The only reason we moved was to buy our first home and Tracy even made sure the transition went smoothly. The apartment complex is safe, spacious and beautiful. The amenities of free coffee, a business center, gym and huge roof deck are enough to make anyone want to life there year after year. There's also parking and storage units available so basically you're covered with anything you might need. And does it get any better than taking your morning coffee walk around historic Federal Hill which by the way, is your front yard!? Amazing.I would recommend Harbor Hill apartments to anyone who wants to live in Fed Hill and have a beautiful place to call

Did not have a positive experience at Harbor Hill. Moved in when the previous property manager (Tracy) was here, and she was phenomenal (which explain the older positive reviews). Shortly after the new management came, it was nothing less than a nightmare. The new management is lethargic and indifferent to our needs and problems. Turnaround for basic maintenance work is over three days. Stolen packages and lack of security is not adequately addressed. Infact it’s met with a blank stare and shrug. It’s unfortunate because the apartments are beautiful. We thankfully moved out and would not rent here.

Beautiful building in an amazing location. My apartment is huge compared to others in this area around the same price range and having parking in a gated garage is priceless for this area. Nice sized gym with modern machines and the rooftop deck is absolutely stunning. Moving in was so easy. The property manager Tracy is an angel whom made sure we were happy at every step in the process.
