Hanover River Oaks

Adding an updated review after living here for going on 3 years now. Hanover River Oaks is one of the few luxury highrise buildings in this city that actually feels like a home. Between the constant upkeep of the property (steam cleaning hallways, new painting done regularly, constantly refreshing the refuse chute rooms), the competency/kindness of the staff, and the friendliness of my neighbors, I couldn’t imagine living anywhere else in Houston. It’s hard enough for most buildings to manage their upkeep properly, let alone one with almost 40 floors. Yet the Hanover River Oaks team does it effortlessly. Good: great views, great amenities, great location, leasing agents, management and concierge/front desk are all excellent. Bad: valet is incredibly rude to your guest coming to pick you up, best is to wait out on the street. Air condition has been a severe problem since day 1, waking up sweating numerous nights. I’ve heard continued revolving excuses, floor is out, gas leaks, roof unit, etc. I’m not an ac tech, end of story is that it hasn’t worked in my 4 months here and there has not been any expeditious effort to get it resolved. Upon move-in upstairs tenants had old rugs hanging onto my balcony, after 2-3 weeks of emails they were removed as if it was a favor to me? Since that occurrence there are 2 additional occurrences. **Update to Response** I’ve submitted various tickets on these

I’ve been a resident at Hanover River Oaks for multiple years and continue to renew my lease. The neighbors have always been great, and the team consistently works to maintain a comfortable and well-managed environment. Even during the window renovation project, the staff stayed positive, worked through challenges, and completed everything as smoothly as possible, which truly showed their dedication. The community events are creative and well planned, offering a great balance of fun and more mature gatherings. The amenities are well maintained, and the 9th floor is rarely crowded, providing plenty of space to work or relax. The outdoor gym and other amenities are also excellent, making it easy to get a workout in or unwind by the pool. Beyond the property itself, the location is ideal

I just moved to the Hanover River Oaks and I LOVE it here! Everyone in the leasing office is amazing. I worked with Marisa, Nhu, and Trey and they were so accommodating. Kevin at concierge is also amazing and same with Wilson, who handles maintenance. The entire staff is so friendly and the residents are as well. You won’t regret living here! *P.S. The views are stunning!

We’ve had such a great experience living at Hanover River Oaks! Regina, the leasing manager, has been amazing. She is always so friendly and helpful. She made renewing our lease and moving units super easy and stress-free, which we really appreciated. The concierge team is also wonderful. Kevin is always so helpful and welcoming, and he really goes above and beyond for residents. The building itself is beautiful, secure, and feels like home. If you’re looking for a place to move in Houston, this is definitely a great choice. We couldn’t be happier living here!
