Hampton Place Apartments

I have been a tenant at The Hampton Place Apartment community for 5 years. You will not find a friendlier or more professional staff. The property is well-maintained. The apartments are in a great location, close to shopping/ dining and great schools. The neighbors are friendly, as well as the on-site maintenance team. The management is responsive and handle maintenance requests promptly. The property is always kept clean and is pet friendly. Finally, If you are looking for a quite, safe, family-oriented, and well-maintained apartment community-give Hampton Place Apartments a call!

The apartment is very nice with the upgrades. The property is well maintained and always getting upgrades like flower beds and fresh pine straw. The dog park is always clean and has multiple trash cans with bags. The managers are amazing and very responsive. There’s always available parking. The community is lively and there’s always people walking around and playing with their kids. The entire complex is quiet and respectful of others. The dumpster is far away from the buildings so there’s no unpleasant smell. And there’s 2 courtesy officers who are visible everyday, which increases safety. I would highly recommend!

I don't want to make this review too long, but I'm not even sure where to start. First of all, the tenants in these apartments have gotten very bad recently. It used to be a nice and safe place, but it is now much more unsafe and the people there have become far less friendly. The apartment does NOT do background checks, so keep that in mind. Also, the management does not care for its tenants AT ALL. We had a major safety issue/concern with the tenants directly next to us, and management had absolutely no regard for our safety or care. We had lived there for over a year, and after these tenants had only been moved in for 5 months we received verbal attacks and blatant aggression that management completely ignored. Hampton place has gone down hill a lot recently. We had an issue with a neighbor being verbally threatening to my wife while I was away. Cops had been called on this guy multiple times with one instance where the guy ran from the cops. The guy had kept getting worse and worse and every time we told the apartment management, the issue would only escalate. It got to the point where he was coming home drunk often and could have easily gotten physically violent. The apartment knew of every single incident, knew that safety was compromised and they did nothing to stop it. We had to leave, but despite the situation, the apartment still charged us 3 months rent and fees to move out (although the Georgia landlord tenant handbook says they can waive move out fees). Nice and friendly staff. Maintenance always fixes any issues no matter what time it is. The amenities are super nice. They have a nice clean pool with a grill and hangout areas. They even just put in a new dog park! I love that it is convenient to town without being in town.
