Hampshire Green Apartments

First off, I know the management here means well. An out of state corporate runs Hampshire Green however and they are running this place into the ground. They are only focused on the bottom line and now our services are being affected. Here is the list: 1. The indoor pool has been shut down (literally chained shut) for over a month now with an email sent today telling us they no anticipated date that it will be finished by. They tell us that the pool companies are backed up for months and there is nothing they can do. I however know that isn’t true. Corporate has probably told management they can only use Company XYZ to keep costs low and not allow management to make local substitutions for the sake of keeping a well-run happy community. This is not a 1 star review because of the property or property management, but rather the management company. Hampshire Green corporate is horrible. We were misinformed about the condition our apartment was in prior to move in. We were told it was under renovation but all was well. Our apartment actually was under renovation because the prior resident SMOKED for 18 YEARS. Our apartment REEKED, and we had to live with this for almost 6 months while failing to negotiate with Hampshire Green to move into another unit and eventually moving out. For context, while Hampshire Green tried to move us to a new apartment at our current rent (like most places would do given the condition our place was in), corporate intervened and said they could only move us if we paid an extra $230 a month, which

I have been living here for 6 months now and i have nothing but great things to say. The crews are always amazing, the maintenance team is fast, quick, respectful. I feel very safe where I am and the amenities are a big plus. The grounds are also beautiful with plenty of room for kids to play! I'm in one of the older apartments now, but whenever I have guests they say how beautiful it is in here. Thanks to the team for giving me an amazing place to start over!

I used to live here with my wife and son last year. During our time, it was great place to call home. The maintenance crew were great guys. They were always respectful. The front office was very responsive and attentive to any concerns. Even recently, I haven’t been a resident there for just about over a year but accidentally had a Best Buy order shipped there (didn’t realize I selected a previous address), but the front office went out of there way to locate my package. It was left at the front door of my old building but the current resident at my old address brought it inside the apartment. The lovely worker at the front office went and retrieved it for me from that resident and was quick to let me know she had found it and called me right away. Me and my kids have been living here since Mid November 2022 and we haven't had the best experience. The neighborhood is welcoming and safe, but the overall quality of the apartment is horrible. The day we moved in we saw dents on the cabinet counter, scratches on the fridge, and there was exposed wiring on the top part of the oven. As we stayed longer in the apartment we noticed more things that weren’t in order. For example there are cracks on our ceilings and walls. There is also leakage in the living room and master bathroom. when we had asked the maintenance for help all they did was paint over it. When we had asked them for an explanation they brushed it off and didn’t give a straight answer. Continuing on the washer and dryers that are in the apartment never worked properly. The Was
