WE have been renting from Hamel Real Estate for almost 3 years now. He was our choice due to the value . We have a 2 bedroom eat in kitchen porch huge living room and multi purpose room. Bascially a great deal for the money we pay. He also is a pet friendly landlord which is amazing since I have a small dog under 25lbs, and cat. I am also a pet sitter. I applaud him for his amazing response time and personal care towards us. He has actually came out more then once time to follow up on any work that was done or repairs. WE have his personal number because he encourages tenant/landlord communication and they also have 24 hour maintenance which RESPONDS! I have been with Hamel Realty for almost 10 years. They have responded quickly whenever I have had an issue, and been polite and helpful during all interactions. My AC kept blowing fuses which Bill and his staff spent a long time fixing on many hot summer nights. I wanted to get a dog for my girlfriend, Bill and I were able to have a discussion about it (we still have our dog). I see that some others have had less positive experiences, but in 10 years I have had not had any major disagreements with Hamel. I pay my rent on time, they are friendly and fix things when needed and maintain the property. Thanks guys!

We have been renting from Hamel Real Estate since 2011. We have not had any major issues with our apartment in the time that we have been living here. It is conveniently located close to the real estate office and any time there was an issue, they have been quick to respond and remedy the situation. There has never been a time that we needed to talk to someone in the office and we've had to wait more than 15 minutes! Since living here we have received an updated stove, refrigerator as well as other updates to the property. I have been renting a studio apartment from Bill Hamel for six months and thus far it has been a good experience. When I first moved in he replaced a sink faucet and repainted a wall at my request, and has since made minor improvements with lighting and installed a new shower head. Recently a water pipe broke above my apartment, and when I called the emergency line, Tim (the property manager) was here within an hour. Before Tim arrived, Bill called me and walked me through turning the water to the apartment off so that more damage would be avoided. Bill and Tim then spent the rest of the evening working on the problem and getting things cleaned up. They returned the next day to finish fixing the place up and there have been no problems since. We rented an apartment from Hamel. Overall it was an OK experience, maintenance calls were usually promptly answered, it was at the end of our stay with them we ended up having problems. We had our situation change, and approached Hamel about getting out of our lease early. They were happy to oblige, we had agreed on September, and let them know we could leave in August if needed. At the beginning of July, they asked us if it would be August or September, we told them August. We requested to get it in writing, they told us not to worry about it, and since we had overall had positive experiences with them, we thought they could be trusted, well we were wrong.
