Hallwood Apartments

I wouldn’t move in unless you do a month to month lease so you can leave easily, after you notice the BS. The management has rocks for brains and the neighbors have weird tendencies. Borderline stalker behavior. The pool doesn’t work . The neighbors disrespect policy making harder to live here and the for months I’ve paid 3 times on the same bill (talk about a thief) also the appliances break down and if the maintenance guy isn’t on some bull you might be able to stop the gnat infestation that taking over the apartment. Other than that, this place still sucks. Take your time and look elsewhere this place isn’t worth a tour let alone a lease sign.

Likely to not renew. While the price continues to skyrocket the services given are not. Two major complaints about the new management company that has taken over: 1. They've changed parking to ensure that you can no longer bring guests over. They reduced visitor parking by 75% painting over the visitor spots which indicates they are crowding the apartments. Now around 100 units are somehow supposed to be sharing a total of 5 visitor spots. Ridiculous. 2. They let the pool go completely stagnant. Not sure how this is legal and not a health risk, but instead of cleaning and draining the pool as is proper procedure they let the scum from the summer build up over several months. Seems like a clear health hazard to anyone swimming in it because I'm fairly certain it was not being cleaned the

I've lived at this complex for over 3 years and it's had over 4 management companies handle it. The most recent company seems to be modernizing some of the apartment features as they can, the appliances in unit here are great. The in office staff that current service here are great! If you hope to walk to places I wouldn't recommend it, as this apartment is located at a dip in between a hill thats paved with stroad-highway. If you plan to mostly drive, this place is very well located though! Located near the highway with close access to a Grocery Outlet, Costco, Walmart, TWO Winco & Targets, there's plenty of grocery options.

The apartment complex was okay until I had an issue with my neighbor's parking. My neighbor violated the parking rules every single day, and the manager couldn't do anything about it. A few times I had to climb into my car from the passenger side because these people were parked so close, and had a massive truck that wasn't even allowed in the covered parking. Then, don't count on getting your deposit back no matter what you do. My roommate and I cleaned this apartment so well that it didn't even look lived in at all. Then I got charged for my keys although I returned every single one. They reimbursed me for the keys, but had some bull excuse for the deposit, and my manager wouldn't even return my call to discuss it. I had to go to her boss to get an answer. Do NOT rent from this place. I had a horrible experience just trying to apply. They told me in an email in the very beginning saying that they took paid evictions. When I then applied I got denied with it saying "any negative rental history is an automatic denial". I wouldn't have even applied if I was told this from the beginning. It made absolutely no sense because I currently make more then enough money and I had nothing else wrong under my name. They never even contacted me back the many times I emailed them trying to clear this up. I always had to chase them down and give and call. Also at a time like this in a pandemic it's extremely insensitive to not even try to work with someone who's been evicted especially when everything else is cleared and good.
