Took videos of the house I moved out of due to management changing and the company starting to lie on their tenants one being myself. This has been an ongoing issue within the last year with them. They said they were selling my house after 7 years, and I respectfully moved out one month earlier for them. Videoed how the house was left, cleaned it top to bottom. The minor repairs needed I was told do not touch and let maintenance handle it. Never was a problem when I lived there. But Cindy Deardeuff is telling me I’m not eligible to put a deposit down for a house that became available because of supposed damage. I have been with Hallmark Management for 6 years now. First at an apartment and currently in a house. Cindy is amazing to work with and has always been very attentive with our needs. Our house is well maintained and we follow the rules so there are no issues. My children are in a great school district that they would not be able to attend without the help of Hallmark Management and the lower cost of rent. The only issues I have ever had with Hallmark are with maintenance and those issues were resolved after voicing my concerns. My 4 star review is only because we would love to stay longer but unfortunately, our house was sold and we will need to vacate in 2026. I haven't actually had any dealing with this company, not for lack of trying on my part. Over the past few months, I've been monitoring their website for vacancies, and I've seen some that I was interested in. Tried calling and emailing the property manager to get information and how to apply. They do not answer the phones during their normal business hours, I've left VM's which they do not return. I've also emailed numerous times, all which have gone unanswered. This is the same for the main office in Springfield. I do not live in the state I'm looking to move to so I cannot stop by the offices, but I imagine if I did no one would be there anyway.

Blessed that Hallmark Management, Inc rentals are available for us! Their rules are strict and we don't mind one bit. Initially, it's an adjustment but we do not own the house we live in so we understand. Lawn care is our responsibility and we don't own a lawnmower so it's an extra expense for us to pay someone to do it, also completely understandable. Sometimes we miss the mark and management has to give us a list to work on and they expect it done immediately, understandable! We absolutely can't say enough how thankful and blessed we are to have our home to rent. It is a beautiful, SAFE, and clean community that is very close to our children's school.
