Haledon Estates

I lived at Haledon Estates Apartments for 2 years and recently moved out — and I would never live there again. Every time we submitted a maintenance request through their app, maintenance would close the ticket as if the issue was resolved, even though no one ever came. We constantly had to call the manager, Tiffany Barton, just to get anyone to show up. The quality of the apartments is poor — the floors are cheap, and we had a wasp problem that took over four weeks for them to finally address. The rent increases are outrageous and not justified by the condition of the units or the service. Tiffany, the apartment manager, was constantly rude and unprofessional. Whenever we called her out for something she previously said, she would deny or lie about it instead of taking responsibility. C

I’ve really enjoyed living at Haledon Estates. The apartments are clean, spacious, and recently updated, which gives them a fresh, modern feel. The neighborhood is quiet and convenient — close to shops, parks, and schools, but still tucked away enough to feel peaceful.

My father has been living at Haledon Estates for over 10 years, and I can’t say enough good things about the community and the staff—especially Tiffany in the leasing office. She consistently goes above and beyond to help, always making sure everything is taken care of quickly and with kindness. As a senior citizen, my father feels supported and respected, and that peace of mind means everything to our family. Thank you, Tiffany, for your outstanding service and genuine care!

I toured with Ms. Sharon recently and she was incredibly transparent—crucial for me since I’m relocating to a new state. She answered all my questions clearly, and the property was clean and well-presented. I ended up applying the same day. Highly recommend!

⚠️ WARNING to future tenants: Think twice before renting here. They delete negative Google reviews to hide the truth. The apartments have roach and mold problems, and instead of fixing issues, management threatens tenants with court or collections when you try to move out or speak up. Be careful — read the fine print and take photos of everything.
