I received my very first preapproval with Patty, and at first, I was absolutely ecstatic. As a first-time homebuyer and low-income earner, I was excited to finally begin the process. However, that excitement was short lived. When I began asking about assistance programs, I was met with quick “no’s”. Patty spoke to me in a condescending manner even yelling at me over the phone. Patty judged and discouraged me about the homebuying process. Sadly, I didn’t end up purchasing a home. I know I’m not the only one who’s had this kind of experience with her.
