"From Trees to Keys"...our little cottage, built on weekends in 1948 with castoffs from the Peter-Paul Candy Factory in Naugatuck, was literally falling apart due to insect damage, damp rot, age...we purchased a log cabin kit home to replace it, not knowing what we didn't know about building. After several other quotes, I met with Lee, who very patiently explained some basics of building - such as, you can't construct a new home on a very old foundation of stacked cinderblocks! Lee worked with us, step by step, through hiccups in financing, building materials shortages (spring through fall of 2020; height of the pandemic), Tropical Storm Isiais, and immovable boulders in the crawl space area. Lee is a gem, tells you what you need to hear instead of what you want to hear, and bent over back

The Steiners came in during covid and made our dream home come true! With help from finding the land, financing, and getting the finshed product done in the best quality we are more than happy with our new forever home! Thanks again!
