We are very pleased with our new custom home, Our PM Brent was very pleasant to work with. He was very attentive to our needs and always helpful. We are very pleased with John and his crew for the great work they did and would recommend them to anyone looking to have a custom home built.

So this will be a longer review, because I think there is need for explanation of the five star review I'm posting. Anyone who is going to build a home is going to run into problems, specifically with communication. GC had their problems with communication, and it was less than ideal to say the least. However, their craftsmanship was top notch, everything was over-engineered, and the finishing details were 5 stars. Every issue we had during the build process with the lack of communication, was resolved and made up for after we moved in. GC came back over 10 times to fix and repair things in the first 4 months after we moved in, no questions asked, except for coordinating when we would be available to have them out to fix any issues. So let me tell you, building a house from the ground up is a whirlwind of emotions and stress levels. You will always have issues pop up that are beyond anyone's control and that is when tension starts to get up there. It makes a world of difference to have a builder who is willing to answer your texts within a reasonable time frame to at least acknowledge your concerns and more importantly, work with you to reach a reasonable compromise when the situation calls for it. Brent came into my build late but was able to put my mind at ease with a lot of the issue I've had with my build. He made time to walk me through and me being the kind of person who needs to know every detail of a project I'm involved with, I appreciate his willingness to indulge me with my questions and extra walkthroughs

It's tough enough to be told the once quiet farmfield behind your house is going to be turned into lots for houses but growth is inevitable and you can only hope the negative impact to your quality of life and home is minimal. Unfortunately my direct neighbors and those in the cul-de-sac have been dealing with an obnoxious amount of run off damaging their yard and deck furniture/decor not to mention the unseen damage to their retaining wall. When contacted the GC manager was dismissive and rude to my neighbor. I've seen the receipts. When building a home, please understand that your Contractor represents you as the home owner. This construction company is building the houses directly behind Spring Gate Ct. in Mount Airy, Maryland. After a heavy rain, a torrential mudslide went through my neighbors back yards. I have lived here since 2008 and this has never happened before. When this company was contacted about this mess they caused…of course none of this was their fault. In my honest opinion, this company isn’t about quality construction, they are cheap and only worry about how they can make more money at everyone else’s expense. I would be very cautious about using this company for anything-big or small, as they obviously don’t care about rectifying the colossal mess they have caused in our neighborhood.
