I didn't want to give a ONE star but I had to in order to leave a review. Greenwood Rental Agency is a joke! They keep a large amount of my father's deposit because of dust, broken blinds ( that were already broken when he moved in) tub/ sink stains ( again were already there due to the age) and dirty baseboards. I have pictures when I moved him in and after the vacate. FYI Be sure to complete the inspection list throughly and please take pictures and video if you want most of your money back! Also they expect the property to be spotless when they inspect, which is probably not how it looked when you moved in! Signed, "Why you worried about it, it's not even your money!"

Let me start by saying I originally applied here despite the reviews. But I have to say don't waste your 50.00 application fee. I applied and I knew I passed all the requirements before hand. So when I called 3 days after receiving the notification that they checked my credit, and the receptionist said denied due to rental history I was shocked but I asked for clarification and was told I'm not sure I'll have to have someone call you back. I then called my current property management company of 7 years with whom I've had a great relationship with and have never been served any kind of eviction notice and was told no one reached out to them. If I could rate them 0 stars, I would definitely do it! I’m not too happy with these people. They rented a ‘house’ (more like a dump) to someone I care for dearly. This place was in the worst area in Greenwood & the person they rented it to was barely legal, which had no idea of the area or what they were doing basically. After staying there 3 months, they tried to turn the key to the property in. The lady told them that they signed a lease and there were no exceptions. So they continued to pay rent every month, although they were not staying there. For 7 months they paid without living in the property until I told them not to pay another penny. I found them very professional. We had a great relationship for 3 years! Always there for a question or concern. They've been in business for a very, very long time. Trust me, they've heard every "story" imaginable. The negative reviews I see are likely from those that didn't follow their rental guidelines-which aren't out of the ordinary...Yes, I recommend them! These people must have gotten some new staff because from what everyone said they sounded terrible. But in dealing with them for the past 3 months they are excellent. Moved into a new apartment with my fiance and they put in a new hot water heater, fixed the A.C., and a whole lot of other small things around the apartment. They seem great.
