Lived here for a year and some change, moved out last year. Have extremely mixed feelings about the apartment to say the least: The good: - Location is awesome for runners and walkers. - Area is very safe. - Parking on the street was never an issue, and you don’t have to pay for it. - Easy access to Aurora Ave and somewhat easy access to I5. - During the day, the property is mostly quiet, great for Work from Home setups. - Maintenance is responsive and fast for matters they can solve. Building maintenance guy is the nicest dude in the world, answered every request within 24 hours. The bad - Overpriced— Comparably sized 1 bed/1 bath units in much newer buildings with more amenities go for the rent price or less than 100 bucks higher. Saw Management relist my old apartment for 150 bucks mo

Lived here for a year and have mixed feelings about it. The good: nice location, near Greenlake Park, bus stops on E line, nice neighborhood, low transient traffic, prompt maintenance, good staff The bad: - thin walls and loud neighbors if you know what I mean - poor insulation - apt gets cold in the winter, with the boiler heater only getting up to around 62-64 degrees. Supplemental heat (space heater) is required if you want it any warmer during the winter. During the summer it gets ~8-10 degrees hotter than outside, and with only one window in the unit I was in, it took forever to cool down enough at night to sleep. So if it was a 80 degree sunny day outside, it would be ~88 inside the apartment and maybe cool down to 80 by midnight. I suggest buying a portable air conditioner if you

This is the best apartment building in the known universe. I lived in the far northeast corner apartment as recently as 2004, and the one just south of that prior.

Decent little studio apartments in a nice neighborhood. Within walking distance of the lake.
