Greenbelt Apartments

Lived here since 2021, the apartments are new well maintained and great for the price! Jazmine is wonderful and easy to work with. Oscar in maintenance is top notch!

The granite counters are beautiful as are the units. The cabinets aren't the highest quality, and at times you can hear people in the halways. The clubhouse is beautiful and everyone on staff is friendly and helpful.

Lived there for 1 year. First tenant in new apartment. Poor quality of kitchen cabinets (you will be charged for “not appropriately” cleaning them when you leave). As I matter of fact you will be charged for everything that they deemed. Poor isolation, was able to hear my next door neighbor snoring. During winter was very noisy to sleep across parking lot with snow plowers working at night. As I was on third floor it was particularly noisy during heavy rain as there was very poor isolation on the roof. High ceiling was nice but then difficult to heat whole place adequately. Apartments look flashy but not worth it and definitely overpriced. Would not recommend.

So yes, the modern new builds feel very posh and I’m mostly happy with it. For central air and full size w/d this is the lowest price point available in this area. But oh man, if you have a south facing wall the ac can’t keep up due to the 11 ft waste of space ceilings. My son’s room is 82 degrees with the ac on full blast and thermal light blocking curtains closed at all times. This happens on any sunny day over 80 degrees because it’s the south facing wall of the building and they constructed these as cheaply as possible so there just isn’t enough insulation against the sun. (The quick cheap build is also evident when you get a closer look at the closet shelving units and poor kitchen cabinet veneer quality, but that doesn’t matter so much and I digress.) Greenbelt is one of the best places I've lived at! I'm actually really sad about moving out (we bought a house) but would definitely choose Greenbelt if I was ever looking for an apartment again. I loved that the apartment had a modernized look, in unit washer/dryer, free surface lot parking and underground parking for only $55 (other apts like this charged $90), were pet friendly, and had a gorgeous clubhouse we could rent for events/parties. The management and maintenance staff were great and very responsive. My critiques - be careful with the kitchen cabinets and floors. They look nice, but you can tell they were cheap; I'm sure the wear/tear damage will be taken out of our deposit 😢.
