Love the location (close to Lake George and vicinity, ski resorts) and the amenities. The lake (actually more like a large pond) is ideal for swimming and kayaking or canoeing. A great place to take in the Adirondack beauty. Indian Lake (further west) is also beautiful, with mists floating off the tree-lined shores at certain times.
The house itself is an architectural beauty. Heavenly! Couldn't ask for more. (But because it's high up on a hill, it's quite a trudge up and down the staircase to the lake) But, the lake/pond, while beautiful and serene, was a tad small for my tastes. The fishing was decent, not great. Bass are present but not plentiful and a few fishermen mentioned pike but I didn't catch any. Overall, a great place but I doubt I'll come back. Once was enough. :)
It's a lovely spot in and of itself; as well as being convenient to LG, hiking, etc.
Beautiful area.
The HOA rules are crazy! Stay away! It's like misfit Island.
